We are looking to create weird 3D versions of Nouns called Crispy Nouns. NFTs will be created with these, including IPFS links to CC0 Blender resources. Eventually the NFTs will be auto-generated daily based on the daily Noun and sent to whoever wins the days auction. Using these 3D assets we will fund a huge variety of creative content and release it on the internet. We will document this process, reflect on it, and report our findings as strategies for Nouns (and other DAOs) to fund future creator content.
Every day at Noun'o'Clock CrispyNouns.wtf will take the days just-sold 2D Noun, stick it in the oven, and bake an Ultra-HD-3D realistic flambé of uncanny details: a Crispy Noun! It will have legs! Awkward hair! Dirt and pores and roasty red eyeball veins. It will also include a CC0 model rigged to move, breathe, and be.
To deliver these we will build CrispyNouns.wtf, home of Crispy Nouns. The site will (eventually) mint a Crispy Noun everyday at Noun'o'Clock and transfer it to the winner of the latest Noun auction. Crispy Noun's are uncannily-realistic 3D model avatars based on the daily auctioned Nouns. These models are released to the public under a CC0 license to facilitate the creation of high quality 3D Nouns content.
Upon completion of all assets and website, in a grand finale, we will commission a wide variety of weird 3D content, host collaborations and events, and explore which methods of creator funding are most efficient for a DAO trying to complete the Virtuous Cycle.
We will summarize our findings in a public report intended to guide Nouns in funding creators with all assets, as well as a model for other DAOs to use
